Jim Cox currently works as the Deputy County Manager of San Juan County and has had the esteemed pleasure to work with all County elected offices, departments and component units in maintaining strong financial management and operations of the County. Prior to his employment at the County, he gained a wealth of knowledge in the operation of multiple New Mexico governments and private companies during his 8 years with public accounting firms in the audit division where he audited governments ranging in size of a $1 billion in assets to smaller in size of about $100 thousand . Jim places a high degree of importance on team-work and collective success. Jim received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, is a Certified Public Accountant and strives to be the best husband and father to his wife and two kids. With a passion to help others, Jim joined the ECHO Board in it’s vision to empower our communities to thrive.
