2017 ConocoPhillips Grant.

We are pleased to announce that we are the recipient of a 2017 ConocoPhillips Grant. This ConocoPhillips contribution will support ECHO Inc. School Pantry and Backpack Programs.  This grant will fund food for approximately 42,000 meals & snacks for area children, college students and veterans in need of food assistance through participating pantries in 26 area schools and support programs.  ConocoPhillips investment in the health of our most vulnerable community members is very much appreciated and will be of great benefit to San Juan County.

Thank you Letter Carriers, USPS and Community

for your help in the 2016 NALC Annual Food Drive.  The drive realized 3 tons of food from Farmington and Bloomfield area residents and a similar amount from the Aztec area for use in local emergency feeding programs.   Hats off to those who helped spread the word.

This will help provide up to 12,000 meals over the summer .

Thank you to the Daniels Fund!

ECHO received a $35,000 Daniels Fund grant to support its Emergency Food Bank programs.   “The grant will enable our program to obtain and distribute additional fresh produce and non-perishable foods to households in need and to help support our hunger relief program partners’ efforts”, said Vicki Metheny, ECHO Food Programs Director.”  “This will also support our remote site distributions throughout northwest New Mexico, assisting vulnerable seniors and children in the most rural parts of our county”, continued Metheny.
